The San Francisco Botanical Garden, in Golden Gate Park, encompasses 55 beautiful acres of landscaped gardens and open spaces that showcase more than 8,000 different kinds of plants from around the world. Known for its collections of plants from South Africa, Australia, and South American plants from Mediterranean climate zones. (admission $11/$7 senior, free with reciprocal member benefits).
