The Chronicle says: "In the best possible way, San Francisco’s Salesforce Park can feel detached from the tower-spiked district around it — a lush, 5.4-acre garden floating 70 feet above the asphalt streets." Explore a diversity of Mediterranean Climate plants at this unique rooftop garden in downtown San Francisco. Because parking is difficult downtown, we will meet at BART in Orinda (bring $3 to park, and your Clipper Card for your BART fare) and we will all take the train to the park, which is a 5 minute flat walk from the Embarcadero station. Bring a lunch, liquid, and a hat. You can even carpool to the BART lot with your friends. Leader: Glenn Phillips.
