Be prepared for a wide variety of natural history at this shady collection of redwoods. Spring migrant birds will be arriving, and early spring flowers will be in bloom (Giant Trillium, perhaps?), if the weather has been wet, we may see abundant mushrooms and salamanders. Bring lunch, dress in layers, wear comfortable walking shoes (that can get muddy, weather-dependent), bring binoculars. We will walk about a mile and half on flat trails, paved on the way out, dirt on the way back. Meet at the Pink Wall in Orinda at 9:30 am.
